Sahoro Ski Resort Overview
Sahoro Ski Resort is another great mountain located in Hokkaido. It is home to 2 main hotels, the all-inclusive Club Med and the Sahoro Resort Hotel. The snow may not be as much as other resorts on Hokkaido, such as Niseko or Rusutsu but it is still very good. There is a good mix of terrain for all levels. The main con at this resort is that there is no developed village and you are mostly limited to the restaurants and bars of these two hotels.
Is Night Skiing Available?
There is no night skiing offered beyond 1800hrs and only on weekends and holidays. weekdays, the resort is open from 0900 to 1600hrs.
Ski Season Length & Hours of Operation
The resort is typically open from early Dec to early or mid April. In the 23/24 ski season, the mountain was open from Dec 3 to Apr 7.

Families are Perfect for Club Med, Sahoro
This is a great resort for families, especially if you are staying at the all inclusive Club Med. Club Med is slightly further up the hill and is a great ski-in ski-out hotel. Kids, teens and adults have group ski and snowboard lessons included but you can also pay extra for private lessons. There is more than just skiing or snowboarding, too. Snowshoe trekking is offered. Walk up to the Kasumi Waterfall and then off to an onsen experience at Tomuraushi Onsen. There fitness training programs, badminton, squash, wall climbing, bars, DJ music and even a very large indoor swimming pool. Airbaords, or air inflated sleds, are available, too. There is so much offered and it is normally all included.
